Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the shocking passing of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were found at their residence home on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account quoting a family associate, a massage therapist scheduled for an session was the first to notice something was wrong after not being able to enter the residence. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives nearby.

When she went into the home, Romy discovered her father's body. It is said she then left the home distraught, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also present. A companion who had gone with her contacted 911. Afterward, paramedics found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, as well as the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is now being held and is ineligible for bail.
