Former Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is allegedly "ringing up pretty much every team owner" as he seeks a return to F1, per Aston Martin F1 chief executive officer Andy Cowell.

The Silverstone-based squad is among the organizations that are connected to Horner.

The team executive stated he had verified the developments with team owner Lawrence Stroll on Friday at the Marina Bay race.

"It seems like Christian is getting in touch with most team bosses at the moment," commented the CEO.

"I can unequivocally confirm there are no arrangements for the engagement of Christian in an management or financial position in the future."

Additional Squads React

Haas boss Ayao Komatsu revealed that the ex-chief had "contacted" the American squad but continued: "No progress has been made. It's over."

Alpine top official Steve Nielsen revealed the organization's advisor and unofficial chief Flavio Briatore was "longtime companions" with the ex-boss.

The team official continued: "I'm unaware what they discuss. What I understand is there are no intentions for Christian to arrive at Alpine but that doesn't mean it might not transpire."

The historic British team team principal James Vowles declared that Horner had not approached them.

"We're content with the setup we have and it's functioning," the team principal said. "I don't see any reason to change from that."

Background Context

The former team principal is free to return Formula 1 by the second half of the coming year after completing a departure deal with his former team on September 22nd.

The veteran motorsport figure was fired as Red Bull team principal after the British Grand Prix in July.

Several informants at the racing team have revealed the settlement package was estimated at 60 million euros (£52 million).
